All California EMTs are required to complete a one-time mandatory training for naloxone, epinephrine auto-injector and glucometer by their next EMT certificate renewal effective July 1, 2019. This training does not authorize for an agency/organization or individual EMT to stock and administer/utilize naloxone, epinephrine or a glucometer and is reflected in Ref 802, EMT Scope of Practice. An approved EMS Provider (Fire Department or a licensed Los Angeles County ambulance provider) may apply to the EMS Agency for approval to train and add a specific device/therapy to inventory for EMT personnel to administer.

Emergency Concepts Center for EMS Training will begin the Mandatory Training July, 2018. There will be 6 (six) hours of CE, as well as the Completion Certificate, issued for this training.

You MUST attend BOTH sessions in the same week. No switching dates. NO SHOWS = NO REFUND If you do not complete both classes in the same week, then you will not receive a refund and you have to register again.
